In the model year 1983, Alfa Romeo once again spruced up its long running favourite to meet new registration requirements in the US. Lovingly known among fans as “Aerodinamica,” the car’s appearance is distinguished by front- and rear spoilers. Though initially criticised, the changes, in particular the clear improvement in quality, came to be accepted over the years.

The present Alfa Spider was first registered on 21 April 1989, making it one of the very late models of the “Aerodinamica” series. According to its single vehicle approval, the Spider had most recently been registered in Coburg until and had only two previous owners. Subsequently, the Alfa moved to Austria. The exterior was painted once and is in generally appealing condition. A glance into the engine compartment and the boot confirms this first impression, and this also applies to the top. The Alfa Spider is the classic convertible and especially in a summer such as the one just gone by there could be no better companion. Why wait? Summer will surely return!
