P. P.: The Paßstück is in some way a flourish of the psyche?
F. W.: Yes, the facade. I don’t enjoy such discussions. Art is not solely a vehicle for socio-psychological insights, and the viewer should deal with the Paßstück.
M. B.: And the artist as well?
F. W.: If he wants.
M. B.: I meant, do you also carry your fitting pieces yourself?
F. W.: Yes, sometimes, as you can see on the photo, but I don’t like being a model, or not always being a model. More usually I sit on a divans or chairs.
M. B.: So the chair is in some way a Paßstück?
