Emile Gallé, Nancy, c. 1898, colourless glass, the lower part internally decorated with a dense pattern of orange, violet and dark green patches, partially pulled into threads towards the top, the rear side with a purple streak, the front embellished with three inlaid and carved meadow saffron blossoms, club shaped body, a flat chip to the upper rim, carved signature Gallé in the Japanese style towards the bottom, height 34.8 cm, (B).
