Dorazio believed that modernity in painting is attained with the liberation of the color of the drawing and the latter, if at all, must arise from chromatic relationships. This is the reason for his diffidence towards the word “grid”, which immediately evokes the drawing of a network of squares. Rather what animates his is a light that derives from Impressionism, Divisionism and Futurism.
