gold, mother-of-pearl, moonstones; on the back marked JH, rose mark, WW and with goldsmith monogram Karl Ponocny; marked with official hallmark A and gold purity hallmark 750 on the side; brooch element (closure loop) replaced for safety reasons: size: 4.1 x 4.1 cm. Black leather box with diamond-shaped gold line décor; brass clasp; stamped WW in gold colour on the front, embossed Wiener/Werk/Stätte also in gold colour on the back. (MP)
During the last nine years, the present brooch was displayed at the Pforzheim Jewellery Museum. Only one example of this brooch was executed.
