Carl Geyling's Erben is a Viennese workshop with a long tradition for glass painting. It’s origins go back to 1841. In 1880 Rudolf Geyling (1839-1904) took over the management of the workshop. Numerous glass paintings for churches, monumental buildings and private houses were produced until the 1920s. The designs for the windows in St. Stephen’s in Vienna, the church Maria am Gestade, the Vienna town hall and the church Am Steinhof are significant designs of the set. The company worked together with artists such as Kolomann Moser and Josef Führich (including the drug store Wilhelm Neuber's Enkel Linke Wienzeile 152). During World war I Prof. Reinhold Klaus (1881-1963) took over the artistic management. From 1980 onwards Wolfgang H. Klaus, a great grand son of Carl Geyling carried the enterprise on until 1997.
