A comparable drawing by Schwind with an illustration for "Der Liedler" titled "Der Sängerjüngling und der Herzog"(1824, The youthful singer and the Duke) is preserved in the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna (Inv.-Nr. HZ-6677).
