(born 1938 in Ardning, Styria) „Der Blaue Wald“, with a text by Günter Brus and 17 attached illustrations, pencil, coloured pencil on paper, on thin cardboard, 3 full-page drawings, each approx. 21 x 30 cm, and drawings within the printed text (handwritten), one 30 x 16 cm, one 18.5 x 11.5 cm, two 12 x 10 cm, three approx. 30 x 7.3 cm and 7 small, signed Günter Brus on the back of the cover, numbered 22/30, in original linen cover, Edition Hundertmark, Berlin 1974, (K)
Provenance: Kurt Kalb, Vienna (dedicatory inscription on flyleaf – written in pencil) Private property, Vienna ....He, who came out of the BLUE WOOD, found himself confronted by a large paleness. He saw a sun in a coma, whiter than white, which ripped open outstretched cloths and burnt slices like split nerves into the landscape. A bright corona stretched over the illuminated scene, - over the things, as the ancients expressed it....out of Der Blaue Wald.
