Friedrich Bischoff: Bischoff studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich from 1835 to 1842. He was a member of the Kunstverein Munich from 1845 onwards but was forced to return to Ansbach after a severe illness. In addition to group paintings and portraits, Bischoff’s works were genre paintings, copies of which were frequently made in the form of etchings or lithographies. Today Bischoff’s works are hung in many private collections.
