From the unique Beloved Mafia Bag series, which includes the Knightsbridge and Shahzad models in addition to the Tardo handbag. Borrowing from the characteristics of terrestrial Austrian topography, the handbag is an abstract depiction of its typical landscape. The bag is finished in a unique Nardo grey colour scheme. This unique item is topped by 10,234 sapphire Swarovski crystals, which intend to represent the shimmer and shine of Austria’s mountain lakes. The interior is crafted with the finest light blue calf leather. High-tech milling technologies and the highest level of leather and paintwork craftsmanship in the world are used for the manufacturing. The headquarters of the 13-strong team of the Beloved Mafia design studio is located in Tyrol. The company’s guiding principle is to combine complex technologies and innovation with superb traditional craftsmanship. For many years, the team behind Beloved Mafia has dealt with the significance of the modern woman’s handbag in our society. Created in 2016, the Beloved Mafia bag represents its developers’ interpretation of a superlative luxury handbag for the twenty-second century. Their approach intends to combine extreme design, complex technologies, innovative materials and traditional craftsmanship, without regarding the object as a mere status symbol. In their “handbag study” they dealt intensively with the topography of their home country of Austria, incorporating their findings into the appearance of the handbag, and using over 10,000 crystals from the Swarovski company. The shimmer of our beautiful mountain lakes always reminded us of the sparkle of Swarovski crystals, and this is why we wanted to involve Swarovski in this project. Three unique pieces have been created, set with a total of more than 30,000 Swarovski crystals.
