A unique piece.
Oskar Eberhard Höfinger was born in Golling an der Erlauf, Lower Austria, in 1935. He is a sculptor, painter and draftsman. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna from 1956 to 1961 with Hans Andre and later (1959) with Fritz Wotruba, among others, graduating in 1961. His works have been included in many renowned collections and he has held numerous exhibitions. He creates his objects primarily from different materials such as iron, steel, wood, sandstone, granite and marble. This elaborate table especially reflects his sculptural skilfulness and characteristic design. Oskar Höfinger lives and works in Vienna.
