According to information supplied by MAK, Vienna, this sheet depicts a view from the first floor of the Kinoeneya (?) restaurant, overlooking a peninsula surrounded by the rivers Sumida and Uchi. In the background, Mount Tsukuba with its two peaks. The blossoming plum tree in front of the window and the camellias in the vase (left) indicate spring, stained (lower right in the flowering branches and above the left cartouche as well as under the sailboat), backed lower and upper margin, visible traces of metal dust, very good print and colours, slightly trimmed, cf. sheet no. 201-1385, Waseda, Tokyo, mounted at upper margin, 35.8 x 24.3 cm (sheet size), mounted, framed ,(CT)
