Carpet making is one of the oldest art forms and dates back more than 2,000 years. Prugse (Persian Rug Special Edition) is a company specialising in the production of high-quality kilims. Kilims are a good choice to preserve the integrity of art, for they are simple in technique and appearance, yet their art is very complex. The aim was therefore to find a technique for creating complex patterns on a kilim. After almost 2 years of research, an appropriate technique was eventually found. The carpet was handmade. Its production takes approximately 7 months.
