- clown in life size, made by Barme in Paris, first third of the 20th century, wood, carved in the shape of a clown, polychrome painted, with glass eyes and mirror inserts, on a base, (non-functioning) device for generating electric shocks mounted centrally on the back, on the front slot for insertion of coins (centimes), as well as display in French with scale for current intensity (from light to strong), with inscription POUR VIVRE LONGTEMPS ELECTRISEZ-VOUS SOUVENT (To live long, electrify often), height c. 180 cm, traces of age and use, partly retouched, in working order.
