Ishibe, Megawa no sato (Ishibe: The Village of Migawa), from the series: "Tokaido gojusan tsugi no uchi" (The First Tokaido, or The Great Tokaido), nishiki-e, signed Hiroshige ga, publisher Takenouchi Magohachi (Hoeido), censor seal kiwame is not visible on the left margin, since both the latter and right margin have been trimmed, early to intermediate print, the seals and foliage are a bit squashed, but the bokashi in the mountain and bushes is still vividly differentiated, lower right corner damaged, slightly stained, visible centre fold, two small holes to the right side on the horizon, small tear to the lowest part of the centre fold, 24.2 x 34.9 cm (overall dimensions), (CT)
