After reading a destructive, provocative text about Robert Kennedy, Mühl and the Direct Art Group performed a psychomotoric action which culminated in the whipping of a masochist wrapped in newspapers. This resulted in a scandal in the Viennese tabloid press and led to a few participants being arrested and convicted. Mühl, too, spent one month in custody. (cf. Noever p. 150)
