The note on the reverse reads:
"The picture overleaf was painted in the 1940s by the famous painter Ferdinand Kitt, who stayed at Adamhof with his colleagues Dobrofski (sic!), Huber and Jungnickel ... There was the so-called Zinkenbacher Malerrunde at Adambauer's farm, with whom I was personally acquainted. Dr. H"
