2002, für Sawaya & Moroni, Milano, geformtes H. D. P.-Polyurethan, Hochglanzüberzug, metallisiert, Edelstahlbasis, Höhe 75 cm, Breite 44 cm, Tiefe 58 cm, Sitzhöhe 45 cm. (DRAX)
Prototyp in dieser Ausführung.
Something of a functional petal, colorful and rigid yet flexible, the sculptural shell that defines the "Maxima" chair and its stainless-steel rod support together generate a line that is almost graphic in its simplicity, neither superimposing on, nor disturbing, the plastic solution it underpins, but creating a synthesis of harmony between two distinct components. A surface that folds upon itself to shape a form lightheartedly reminiscent of plant life.
