Germany (?) 19th century, mahogany veneered softwood frame with 2 drawers in the bombé lower section, fall-front writing surface, enclosing a fitted oakwood veneered interior with 2 inner drawers and compartments, black leather writing surface with gold-embossed border decor, surmounted by a facetted glass door with a mirror on the back panel, c. 151 x 68 x 45 cm, wooden part in the base area missing, signs of age and use.
