modified French transitional style of the late 19th century, mahogany and rosewood veneered softwood frame on gently curved legs, 2 side doors, 2 drawers ‘sans traverse’ with floral marquetry of additional precious woods, marble top with broken portion to the rear edge, as well as glued cracks, ornamented with bronze mounts, c. 90 x 120 x 52 cm, some wood parts missing, on the back a shipping company label with the handwritten name “Hohenlohe”, signs of age and use.
