1973 Mercdes-Benz 350 SE (no reserve)

1973 Mercdes-Benz 350 SE (no reserve) - CLASSIC CARS and Automobilia

Since 1975 with its third owner and very well equipped

With the S-Class, also known as W 116, presented in 1971, Mercedes reached deep into its box of tricks to advance both convenience and safety. It was rewarded with the first “Car of the Year” title awarded to an upper class car. The prestige brand was built until 1980 with little or no changes to its appearance, though everything always stayed up to date on the technical side. Eventually it came with optional ABS and airbags.

The present 350 SE, in a colour scheme typical of the period, was ordered with electric sun roof, velour, central arm rest, 4 power windows, automatic transmission and „Becker Mexico Cassette“. The last owner registered the car on 30 May 1975, and imported it to Austria when he moved there in 1978. The Mercedes is in very well-maintained condition, which is particularly apparent in the velour upholstery. Not in recent use, service costs need to be taken into account. Appearance, furnishing, and its history all contribute to the car’s particular attraction!
