1976 Porsche 911 S 2.7

1976 Porsche 911 S 2.7 - CLASSIC CARS and Automobilia

In 1976, Porsche compressed its range of models with the former Type 911 and 911 S being replaced by the 911, now with 165 HP. In the USA, these models continued to be referred to as 911 S. Today, “normal” 2,7L are clearly visually distinguished from the Carrera and SC by their narrow graceful bodywork, which in combination with chrome elements makes them appear distinctly older.

The present Porsche 911, in rare Cockney brown, was originally delivered in the U.S. Before it arrived in Austria, it was registered in Pennsylvania and, prior to that, in New York. After its arrival, it was refitted to match European standards, getting a new tank, a new heat exchanger, a new exhaust, and new Michelin VR tires. Chassis and brakes were overhauled completely. The body needed no work done as the underbody and boot were in incredibly good condition. The interior is in very fine original condition as well. A new owner can look forward to a sleek 911, in absolutely satisfying condition. Its sunroof and paint colour distinguish it from its peers in a pleasant fashion. This is the time to acquire one of these early G-Models, because it is only a matter of time before prices for them will go the way they did with their predecessors! A Porsche to simply get in, drive off, and enjoy!
