1964 Porsche 356 C 1600
Extremely rare colour combination!

B follows A, C follows B, also at Porsche, where in 1963 the 356 was last worked on. There was hardly any change in the bodywork, the main innovation being with the disc brakes, with which all models were now being delivered. The basic version now had 75 HP. Although the 911 was already in the starting block, the 356 again achieved a sales record in 1964 with over 14,000 vehicles sold. Even in 1965. demand was so strong that Porsche offered it in North America all year round.
This late 356 from 1965 was originally rolled out in the USA. What makes it so special is the colour in which it was delivered. The sensational enamel blue (6403) had only been offered for two years and was actually intended for the early 911s and 912s. As if they were not already rare enough, it is certainly rare to find a 356 in this colour! In 2009, this Porsche moved from sunny California to the even sunnier Sicily. However, because the ravages of time had already gnawed away at it, an extensive renovation of the body was needed, which was documented in a large photo album. Then the 356 was repainted in its original, beautiful colour. The original engine was also overhauled. The original interior, on the other hand, has been preserved and now features a wonderful verdigris colour. From Sicily, the Porsche then moved to South Tyrol, which certainly improved it in a number of ways! The new owner can expect a unique 356 in a picture-perfect colour and flowing with charisma!
