Provenance:
Collection Heinrich Beckmann, (1874-1940), Bremen (Lugt 2756a); private collection, Germany.

The present drawing is a detail copy after the woodcut by Albrecht Düer “Gnadenstuhl” (Holy Trinity) and may have been executed by an artist in the time of the socalled “Dürerrenaissance” around 1575. The inscription at the lower right margin may point to an owner of the drawing in the 17th century.
