1995 Harley Davidson Road King with sidecar - Classic Cars

Pay one, get two!

The Road King is the entry-level model in Harley’s range of heavy touring bikes. It is difficult to say when the touring series was first launched, as Harley Davidson motorcycles were used for long journeys early on in the company’s history. Among the classics is the Electra Glide. The Road King models were first released with their nostalgic design in 1993. The Porsche-developed Evolution engine had already replaced the somewhat problematic Shovel Head in 1984. The new Evo can rightly be considered the first Harley engine that was able to cope with top speeds. It has proved its durability innumerable times, so a touring model with this unit can be can be recommended as an extremely reliable long-distance motorcycle with an entirely clear conscience.

This black 1995 Road King duo impressively states its purpose. A good 80,000 km with just one owner confirm its status as a faithful and reliable companion. Purchased and ridden by a passionate Harley enthusiast, the only reason for its sale is that the owner’s garage is already home to several other Harleys, besides this Road King. It is worth noting that the Road King is licensed for use on its own and with a sidecar. So the buyer of this bike will acquire two types of motorcycle. Admittedly, riding with a sidecar takes some practice, but it is certain to earn admiring glances and the deep respect of all other motorbike riders. Sidecar pilots enjoy special status as the real “Road Kings”.
