1970 Puch 500 S *
The redesigned Fiat 500 made its way to Graz when the new bodywork was introduced in Italy. The Austrian offshoot carried on building the better cars than in Turin, although the models now included a smattering of Italian parts, for instance the gearbox or the interior. The new compact car was christened the Puch 500 S.
This Puch has left Styria for the first time in its life. Until now it has been exclusively registered in the green heart of Austria. Initially owned only by women, its later owners evidently had more sporting ambitions, as evidenced by the look and the engine, which the consignor assures received a classic power upgrade by Puch.
