Leopold Löffler-Radymno

Compare: Friedrich von Boetticher, Malerwerke des 19. Jahrhunderts, Vol. I,2, p.928. Leopold Löffler-Radymno: Active in Vienna from 1867, becoming a member of the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts in the same year. In 1877 he moved to Cracow where the intervention of J. Matejkos resulted in his appointment as professor at the Academy of Fine Arts. Löffler preferred genre scenes and historical paintings which he exhibited regularly at Austria’s Kunstverein and at academic exhibitions. (Compare: Kunst des 19.
