Olga Wisinger-Florian - vendere e comprare opere

1 November 1844, Vienna (Austria) - 27 February 1926, Grafenegg (Austria)

Together with Tina Blau und Marie Egner, Olga Wisinger-Florian is one of Austria's most important female painters of the 19th century. A particular focus of her work is on landscape and flower paintings.

Like Tina Blau, Wiesinger-Florian was a student of Emil Jakob Schindler's and thus also indebted to Stimmungsimpressionismus, Impressionism of the mood.
But in contrast to many of her women artist colleagues, she only took up painting as an adult, when she had to abandon a career as a concert pianist for reasons of health.

The influences of various study trips, such as to Italy, are evident in her work.
