Susi Singer was an Austrian ceramist of the Art Nouveau era.
She studied under Tina Blau, Michael Powolny, Adolf Böhm and Otto Friedrich at the Art School for Women and Girls in her native city of Vienna.
She worked at the Vienna Workshops from 1917-1925, before founding her own studio in Grünbach am Schneeberg in 1925. She specialised in fanciful “everyday figurines” in ceramics. Singer received many accolades for her work over the course of her artistic career, including awards in Paris, London and Brussels.
