so-called demilune-form, Louis XVI period, second half of the 18th century, finely carved hardwood frame with wave ornament and festoons, natural finish, with openwork frieze and moulded marble top (St. Anne des Pyrénées), 82 x 78 x 43 cm, well-kept condition with signs of age and use, the feet added in the course of a restoration.
