“It is not possible to vouch for, or to determine, the number of prints the artist produced. Zülow never issued numbered editions, a system used in print graphics of the time. Although it would have been possible to create many, perhaps hundreds of prints from papercut templates, we can assume that no more than 20-30 were printed. (…) Thus all prints made in the period under consideration are rare.”
