An old inscription on the reverse: Ant. Kuppitsch, No. 1529, 303.

Literature: Tranquillo Mollo, Wiens vorzüglichste Gebäude und Monumente, Les Principaux batiments et monuments de Vienne, 1825.

The art dealer and publisher Tranquillo Mollo edited this series of views in 1825. Eduard and even is father Josef Ignaz were active for this assignment. Works by father and son Gurk are largely kept in the possession of the heirs of Archduke Johann and therefore appear rarely on the art market and at auction houses.
