“For centuries, the screen has offered the possibility of creating a temporary mobile private space. Whereas in the past our privacy had to be mainly protected from curious eyes, we are now additionally confronted with a different kind of observation – the outside world watching us with virtual sensory organs. The fractal antennas embroidered onto the folds of the screen protect its owner from electromagnetic radiation, with the cyber screen beating the devil at his own game, for also mobile phones are equipped with such antenna patterns in order to better receive the signals. The three frames are joined and therefore ensure that the copper pattern forms a single wire loop that can be earthed by plugging the cable in. The same goes for the separate wall panel, which is the proof of the CNC stitching of the Fraktal pattern.“
