Provenance: The Counts Czernin von Chudenitz
This Bohemian-Austrian noble family originated from Chudenitz bei Klattau and were part of the Bohemian gentry by 1200; they were made Barons in 1562, Counts in 1627 and Imperial Counts in 1644. In 1716 the head of the house obtained permission to call himself Sovereign of the House of Neuhaus and Chudenitz.
