In 1955, Erich Einhorn became the chief photo journalist of the Vecerni Praha (Evening Prague) daily. His pictures frequently revealed the inherent humour of everyday situations and became highly popular. His successful exhibition “Moskva oclima fotoreportéra Vecerni Prahy” (Moscow seen through the eyes of the photo journalist of Vecerni Praha), after opening in Prague in 1957, was also shown in several Soviet and GDR cities.
