2004 Porsche 911 GT3 Mk 2

2004 Porsche 911 GT3 Mk 2 - Autoveicoli d'epoca

A Porsche with no filter! The first Porsche GT3 appeared in May 1999 as the successor to the 993 Carrera RS. It was the first Porsche 911 sports car to be fitted with a naturally aspirated water-cooled engine. At Porsche, GT stands for sporty performance and the removal of unnecessary comfort features. For the automotive purist, it embodies their preferred focus on the essentials. The GT3 is the road version of the Cup car used by Porsche, with only those modifications required for road approval. In April 2003, Porsche launched the second revised version of the GT3. The 3.6-litre engine was fundamentally revised and now delivers an extra 21 hp. The 381 hp help accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and at 306 km/h, it is even faster than the Turbo. This GT3 was originally delivered to the US, returned to Germany in 2011 and was taken to Austria in 2013. Until 2010, the mileage is documented in the log book and the manufacturer's database, showing a final figure of 14,219 miles. In Germany, the owner exchanged the specialist Porsche tacho for a km/h version. According to them, the reading was converted into kilometres and adjusted accordingly. In 2015, this GT3 was incorporated into the Consignor's Porsche collection, but was only very rarely driven using transferrable number plates. He has admitted that he now prefers the more comfortable models in his Porsche fleet to the aggressive GT3. The optional and wickedly expensive ceramic brakes ensure both improved safety and exclusivity!
