1970 Alfa Romeo 1300 GT Junior

1970 Alfa Romeo 1300 GT Junior - Autoveicoli d'epoca

Last production year of the model with attractive figures!

In September 1963, Alfa Romeo presented the Giulia Sprint GT with its 1600 cc engine at the IAA in Frankfurt. It was only in the autumn of 1966 that the 1300 GT Junior came on the market, equipped with a smaller engine and simplified fittings at a price more acceptable for the masses which took the market by storm. In 1970 the coupé was smoothed out, the original design from then on called the "stepnose", and the new one simply referred to as "non-stepnose".

This late "stepnose" was registered for the first time in Treviso on 8 July 1970 where it remained until it was exported to Germany. The Alfa was restored about nine years ago. The car was repainted in grigio metallizzato, combined with synthetic leather in cognac, undisputedly a most elegant combination. The well-preserved interior decor would still appear to be original. In bella Germania the mechanic was consulted again. A lot of money and time has clearly been devoted to the lighting, the brakes, the chassis, the tyres and the exhaust. The new owner will certainly be delighted, because with this Alfa he will not only be able to make an entrance with his charm, but he will also be able to have a great deal of fun driving. The 1300 cc roadster amazes with its sheer power, animating the driver to drive with a racy driving style. This will make those Italian moments in life even more authentic!
