c. 1930 Amilcar Type M *
The firm Amilcar was founded in St. Denis, France, in 1921. The company quickly made a name for itself by building fast cars and winning a variety of races, offering reliable quality that achieved significant power thanks to its robust engineering.
Amilcar offered the Type M in a variety of versions between 1928 and 1935. Initially measured at 1,244 cc, the engine was gradually enlarged to 1,628 cc from 1934.
This project includes a frame that probably originated from an Amilcar Type M, with mechanical mountings like axles and wheels. The bulkhead, engine, tank and radiator are already installed. Various sheet metal parts are included. A sportingly designed body has already been manufactured to complete the project. Also included is a second engine. So even if summer is at the door, the next winter is certain to come around soon enough!
