The attribution to Abraham Casembrot was suggested by Dr. Holm Bevers on the basis of a digital photograph. Comparable drawings of the artist are preserved in the Kupferstichkabinett in Berlin (Inv. Nr. 25993), in the Prentenkabinet of Leiden University (Inv. Nr. 919), in the Kupferstichkabinett of the Hamburger Kunsthalle (Inv. Nr.21797) and in the Kunstsammlung of Göttingen University (Inv. No Collection Uffenbach H 176, 177).
