An album (gafu) with 15 double-sided image of scenes depicting children, coloured woodblock prints, all oban yoko-e: a) ‘Muchu unasareru Kodomo (Child that has nightmares), slightly spotted, sheet wrinkled, b) ‘Nekoni sawaru Ko (Child touching a cat), sheet rather wrinkled, c) ‘Seki wo toru Ko’(Child doing sumo wrestling), sheet rather wrinkled, some ink spots, d) ‘Meshi no kiraina Ko’(Child that does not want to eat), rather wrinkled, slightly spotted, e) ‘Uba no mane wo suru Kodomo (Child imitating its wet nurse), rather wrinkled, some ink spots, e) ‘Uoichiba no Ko’(Child at the fish market), spot to lower left, other no printing errors, f) ‘Kumigashira no Ko’ (Child of Kumigahira), slightly spotted, slight smudging to red ink on foot, slightly wrinkled, g) ‘Kagami ni mukau Ko’ (Child looking at itself in the mirror), rather wrinkled, slight smudging to red ink in face and garment, h) ‘Taifu no Kodomo (Child of Taifu (actor), rather wrinkled, slight smudging to red ink in instrument and above edge of table, i) ‘Otori no sukina Kodomo’ (Child that wants to dance), slightly wrinkled, slight smudging to red ink beneath the right hand, j) ‘Kakubeijishi no mane wo suru kodomo (Child copying a lion), slightly wrinkled and spotted, k) ‘Yu no sukina Ko’ (Child that enjoys bathing), heavily wrinkled, smudging to red and black inks, l) ‘Itazura na Ko’(An impudent child), rather wrinkled, slightly spotted, t) ‘Ondo’ (Child dancing at a festival), slightly wrinkled and spotted, q) ‘Saigonomi suru Ko’(Child complaining about its food), rather wrinkled, slight ink spotting, all sheets with signature stamps, all dated 1892, publisher: Matusi Eikichi (company name: Kakuhakudo), all sheets 24.2 x 35.2 cm, fine, light silk binding, first page with mica overlay, (CT)
