A “Correalistic object”, designed by Friedrich Kiesler
New York, 1942, re-edition by Wittmann, Austria, in cooperation with the Friedrich and Lilian Kiesler Private Foundation, manufactured in c. 2002/04, wood structure with black painted ash sides and petrol blue linoleum cover, dimensions: c. 91 cm x c. 87 cm x 39.5 cm. (DRAX)
Like the “Correalistic stool”, this multifunctional object was part of the unusual exhibition design for Peggy Guggenheim’s gallery Art of This Century in New York in 1942.
