An early version.

Peter Noever initiated the GALAXY project in the mid-60s with the young, up-and-coming Austrian artist Walter Pichler. The first presentation of this legendary piece of furniture took place in 1966 at the Museum of Applied Arts (MAK) in Vienna for the exhibition “Selection 66”, organised by the former shooting star of the architectural scene Hans Hollein.
