manufactured by cabinetmaker Friedrich Otto Schmidt, Vienna, after 1900, mahogany construction on six legs, tiles, brass fittings and sabots, height approx. 65 cm, diameter approx. 70 cm. (MHA)
Adolf Loos used this table model in several variants (six- and eight-legged models, tops of different sizes, with or without brass applications and inserts). An example of the present model series is in the Vienna Museum of Applied Arts (on display in the department “Design/Decorative Arts 1890–1938”).
