in 1989, manufactured by Meccani Arredamenti, Cascina, Italy, 1996, American maple veneer on blackboard and plywood, ebony inlays, black lacquered columns, copper plaque: Designed by/MICHAEL GRAVES/Graves/for/MECCANI, height 75 cm, diameter 111.5 cm. (DRAX)
The only example produced by Meccani. Two slightly deviating variants realised by different producers are conserved at the Indianapolis Museum of Art and the Denver Art Museum.
