“I am concerned with the articulation of space, with its definition, with exclamation marks that evoke sculptural events in the two-dimensional ‘non-sculpture’. [...] I transfer those minute articulations of movement in time to the overall picture, whose most salient determinant is movement. In my more expansive pictures, in particular, I rhythmically assign the signages and gestures to one another in such a way that they become a constant, interrelated oscillation.”
