Sketchbook no. 4 in der New York Public Library, Ariyoho Kondo (active ca. 1830-1880) gafu, Tasei Shinshafu (Album with woodblock-prints concerning animals), (vol 2 of 2 volumens, no. 1 showing flora), 51 woodblock prints, publisher: Maekawa Zenbei, Osaka 1888, the prints are based on the original drawings by Ariyosho Kondo, which were later owned by Shibakawa Matauemon of Osaka, who invited the artist Nambara Keisho (active 1880) to prepare the collection for reproduction. The Confucian scholar Fujisawa Nangaku provided an additional preface, yotsume-toji-book binding, origianal wrappers (stained and worn), whereas only some of the prints are little stained, 30,7 x 21,2 cm,(CT)
