Provenance:
Collection of Theodor Gerhard Lürman (1789–1865), Bremen;
by descent to Diedrich Jacob Eduard Kulenkampff (1850–1916), Bremen;
to his daughter Gertrud Rimpau (neé Kulenkampff), until 1945;
September 1945 the Soviet occupying power expropriated Langenstein Castle and transferred the art collection to the Municipal Museum Halberstadt;
inv. no. K1/116;
restituted to the Rimpau family in 2005
