br>The Prophet Baruch lived ca. 600 BC and was collaborator and writer with the Prophet Jeremiah, with whom he witnessed the destruction of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar. The name "Baruch" is put to numerous apocryphal writings, including the Book of Baruch and an Apocalypse.
