Second hand first series model!

In spring 1980, the first Pandas rolled their way to the dealers. Giorgetto Giugiaro had designed a snazzy compact car, whose advertising slogan “die tolle Kiste“ or “the mad box” hit the nail on the head. Starting in June 1983, the 4x4 was released. Steyr-Puch in Graz had developed the 4-wheel Panda, which was assembled in Austria. Some of these Pandas were even part of the 1984 and 1985 Dakar Rally. Today, the First Panda Series is considered extinct, perhaps only one has been restored.

This first series Panda 4x4 was registered on July 19, 1983. It was in the original owner’s hands until 2015, before it was passed on to an enthusiast who helped revive it to its former splendor through plenty of love and close attention to detail. The original color was mixed by using a color analysis. The four-wheel drive, engine as well as the brakes were completely redone. In the end, the Panda was restored accordingly, so that it remains true to its form for as long as possible. The result is a copy, which is impressive due to its condition as well as its many curious details in every way. A piece of later Austrian automotive history through this Panda 4x4 is now awaiting a new home!
