A Healey restored and improved by the legendary Heinz Moser! The Austin-Healey 100-6 was a Roadster produced from 1956 to 1959. It replaced the Austin-Healey 100, now had a 5 cm longer wheelbase, larger body and a more powerful 6-cylinder engine. Two body types were available, namely the 2+2 and the pure 2-seater. This Austin Healey was delivered on 1 July 1958 to Mr Eugene A. Klein by the Nisshin Automobile Company in Yokohama. The corresponding Certificate of Title from the Department of Transport is present. In 1983, a US Title names Mr Billy Sherrill Ingram from Jamestown, North Carolina, as the owner. In the meantime, the 100-6 had been fitted with the more powerful 3-litre engine of its successor. In 1987, the Healey was taken to Upper Austria, since when all the invoices have been carefully archived. In the 1990s, the 100-6 was completely rebuilt by the Healey guru, Heinz Moser, in his Healey factory in Gmunden. As part of this, the engine was refined using high-quality motorsport components. Heinz Moser's work has long achieved cult status, because he turned the Healey into a real sports car! The scope of all this work is documented and evidenced by invoices. Even after the restoration, the 100-6 always visited the Healey factory for routine maintenance work. The vehicle demonstrated its technical reliability at various events. The Consignor acquired the Healey five years ago. But ultimately, the Healey was hardly used, due to the large number of vehicles in their fleet. This pretty two-seater would like to demonstrate its qualities a little more often!
